There is something about all the new spring and summer clothes out in stores this time of year that helps get me through these last few dreary weeks of winter. I decided the other day to take a stroll through Target (okay, who are we kidding, this is EVERY day) and see what new spring clothes were out.
You guys – I found so much stuff I didn’t have time to finish my try-on! I found shirts, dresses, pants, shorts, you name it! if you have a chance this weekend to hit up Target or even just get on the app, buying some super reasonable spring and summer clothes may cure your winter blues! I am anticipating the need to have a part two of this Target try-on with even more finds, but for now, here is what I was loving.
Women’s cropped peplum t-shirt / cutoff denim shorts / cream cardigan
The above denim cutoffs and peplum t-shirt combination was one of my favorite outfits, and demonstrates why try-ons are so helpful! So the shirt looks super cropped in the pictures online, and even in the store seemed too short before I tried it. However, with the right high-waisted shorts (or jeans if you have them) it looked great! Now, on someone taller or with a longer waist I wouldn’t recommend it, but for my body type I loved it. I am also between a small and medium sometimes and sized up. For the price (under $15) you can’t beat it and it comes in some really fun spring colors!
I also really liked these shorts, I just bought another very similar brand name pair from Nordstroms for more than four times as much, and I am kind of disappointed I didn’t find these first (see below for the splurge/save comparison).
The cardigan is nice too, especially for spring and can be worn with a lot of different outfits! Highly recommend all of this!
Ruffled Maxi Dress / Tiered Pink Dress
I was also very much into these two dresses. They both come in a variety of colors, and are fun and great for spring. I preferred the one with the ruffled sleeves just slightly over the more simple dress, but they were both great.
This t-shirt dress is also a fun spring/summer wardrobe stable and very reasonable. It also comes in tons of colors. I paired it with this versatile jean jacket that is great for any spring wardrobe. Side note, the jean jacket runs slightly big.
Coral sweater / cream jogger pants
Looking for something comfortable and springish to hold you over until it actually warms up? This sweater and these really comfortable cream pants are great for spring. The sweater comes in fun spring colors and would look great with jean shorts. These pants feel like loungewear but are actually nice, and could be worn out as a casual outfit.
So I know this is another version of a t-shirt dress, but I couldn’t resist it, especially this pretty lavender color. Its fun and a little more form fitting if you want to dress it up and wear it out.
