So it may be Halloween, but in our neck of the woods Trick-or-Treat was cancelled due to the thunderstorms and rain showers expected tonight. What is more appropriate to talk about on a rainy day than how to find affordable rain boots?

Okay, let me just put this out there, my first ever pair of Hunter Rain boots were just delivered this week! Thank goodness, given the forecast for today! Anyways, I feel like I am the only woman in the continental United States who didn’t have a pair of these rainy day fashion staples.

I am going to just be honest – I always felt they were overpriced, especially for someone who spends very little time walking around outside in the rain. But then last week DSW was having an amazing flash sale, and I had another coupon that was burning a hole in my pocket, so I went on and thought – hmm, maybe they carry Hunter Boots. Guess what? They do – and they were super reasonably priced. I also got this amazing door mat that says “nice shoes” for free with a coupon. Lucky for you it’s still on sale and available online!
