What to Wear Now

So this is a weird time of year. No one in their right mind wants to buy more winter clothes, but it’s definitely not warm enough to get into spring clothes yet, so where does that leave us?

Well, we have fun red and pink looks for Valentines’s Day, great sales on sweaters and other winter wear, and some fun new transitional items to take us from snow to warmer weather!

I thought it would be fun to do a little post sharing some of my favorites right now!

So this look above is perfect for Valentines, and not only includes this fun red shirt that can be worn again in spring, and these amazing heart earrings, but also my absolute favorite leggings in the entire universe, then Spanx faux leather leggings.

As for this outfit, it is my go to casual outfit I’d the moment. The sweater holds a special place in my heart because my daughter picked it out for me at my favorite boutique, Three Little Birds, for my Christmas gift – and she did a great job. I love the little bits of confetti color and the distressed neck. The jeans are super comfortable, and reasonably priced – they run slightly big. These booties are also casual and comfortable.

This third look was part of a photo shoot I did with my youngest for my post on transitioning from working mom to stay-at-home mom. If you haven’t had a chance to, check it out! It was featured on the today parenting page! Anyways, I love this animal print on this dress, which I feel is great for work or a nice dinner or lunch out! This fun dress can easily transition to spring with sandals and a jean jacket.
